1. CUTTING A PICTURE OUT OF A BACKGROUND, USING THE MAGIC WAND TOOL, AND THE ERASER TOOL.
Step 1
From the sample files, copy image 1.
Open Adobe Photoshop.
Create a new project that is 6 inches Wide, by 4 inches Tall
150 pixels resolution. You will have to change the height and width from pixels to inches, but leave the resolution set for pixels.
Paste image 1. You may have to use the (Modify, Free Transform tool) to resize your image to fit the new project.
From the sample files, copy image 2.
Open Adobe Photoshop. Open up the project you just created. Paste image 2. Drag image 2 on top of image 1. You may have to use the (Modify, Free Transform tool) to resize your image to fit the new project.
Photoshop works in layers.
Using the magic wand tool, select the white background on image 2. If the magic wand selects too much white, and selects the image, change the tolerance to a smaller number. If the magic wand selects too little white, then change the tolerance to a larger number. Once the white is selected, press the backspace key to delete the white. Choose (Select, Deselect) to disable the magic wand. Using the black selection arrow, move the picture of Tom Brady to the corner of the Gillette Stadium picture.
Step 2
Create 3 additional combined photos, using 6 different school appropriate images that you find on the internet.
Use the magic wand tool, and adjust the tolerance to remove the background from 1 of the images.
Step 3
When you finish your combined photos, save each image as a .jpeg, medium quality. Open your weebly page. Add a slideshow. Add a copy of the original images, and your converted images to your weebly page. Publish your page.
