3 of ME
For this project you are going to have 3 pictures taken of you in different spots or positions. You are then going to edit those pictures in Photoshop to create one picture, with 3 images of you in it.
Step 1
Mount a digital camera to a tripod. Then without zooming in or out, and without moving the camera, have someone take 3 different pictures of you in 3 different positions within the camera frame. Be careful not to overlap yourself or it will be harder to edit the images.
Step 2
Open your first image. Select All, and copy your first image. Open your second image. Paste your first image on top of your second image. Save this as a Photoshop file. Open your third image. Select All, and copy your third image. Go back to the Photoshop file that you created with the first and second images, and paste in the third image. You should now have a Photoshop file that has all three images of you on three separate layers.
Step 3
Select the top layer and using the Eraser tool, erase out everything except for your image in layer 1. Hide layer 1. Select layer 2 and using the Eraser tool, erase out everything except for your image in layer 2. Unhide layer 1. You should now have a Photoshop file with you in 3 different places.
Step 4
Save this image as a jpg file at medium quality. Add it to a slideshow on your Weebly page. Publish your page.
Essential Question: How is this project an example of the Principle of Repetition?
