3 SEPARATE FILES - POST THE ORIGINAL PICTURES ON YOUR WEEBLY SITE
On the You will create 3 examples of playing cards, 2 front or face cards, and 1 back card. Each card is 2.5 inches wide, by 3.5 inches tall.
Step 1
Create a new Photoshop document that is 10 inches wide, by 4 inches tall. 150 dpi. Make sure that the document is set for RGB color.
Step 2
Copy the card template from below, paste into your photoshop document and duplicate the layer twice so that you have 3 blank cards.
Step 3
Find a picture from the internet that you can cut in half. If you are using a person, include their shoulders and waist. An image with a solid color background works best.
paste your image on the first card.
Step 4
Using the rectangle select tool, draw a box around your image, from head to waist. Choose Select-Inverse, this will select everything around your image, and press the Backspace or big Delete key to delete everything but your image. Select Deselect, and duplicate that layer. Use the magic wand tool if you need to remove the background.
Step 5
Select the duplicated layer, Go to Edit – Transform –Flip Vertically. You should now have a mirror image of your person. Line your images up so that they connect.
Step 6
Merge the 2 layers by selecting them and pressing Ctrl + E.
Step 7
Add a Heart or Diamond by using Custom Shape Tool, and a Letter for face cards or a number with Type Tool. Merge the type and the shape together. Duplicate the layer and rotate it 180 degrees. Move the shape to the bottom corner of the card.
Step 8
Repeat the steps to create a second face card.
Step 9
On the third card, create a design for the back of the card.
Step 10
Center your cards on the page, save the image as a Jpg medium quality. Add the image to a slideshow on your Weebly page and Publish your page.
